| Obituary | It is with profound sadness that we announce Joe’s sudden passing on Wednesday, June 17th, 2026, in his 92nd year. Son of the late Gourgia and the late Saleh Faraj. Beloved father of Naomi, Nancy, and Nadine (Michael Flomen). Proud Saba of Sophie Bell, Daniel Bell, Melissa Bell, and Naima Faraj-Hottenroth. Predeceased by his siblings and their spouses Valentine (Elisha Samuel), Salim (Doris), Gracie (Haroun Khazzam), and Suzanne. Sadly missed by Linda Kurylo. Joe will be fondly remembered by his adoring extended family and many friends.
Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Sunday, June 21, at 11:00 a.m. Burial at the Spanish and Portuguese Congregation Cemetery, 1250 Chemin de la Forêt.
